Let's scale the Kosciuzko
Both Golden Decade and Without Parallel travelled to Sydney on Wednesday night, their usual pre-race routine and have arrived safely, in great condition, and ready to go.
“I’m very happy with both horses going into The Kosciuszko tomorrow,” said trainer Matthew Dunn.
“I think the barrier draw was kind to both horses and their racing patterns, and any overnight weather might be the difference between them.
If the predicted rain arrives, the mare will be aided by that, and if the rain doesn’t come, Golden Decade will get his preferred firm ground.”
Matthew added:
“It’s a very strong edition of the race and I hope both horses run to their best — and they’ll need to — to figure in the money for their owners and slot holders.”
